2017 Ford F-150 to Deliver V8-Level Power From EcoBoost V6

Ford engineers are always looking for ways to one up themselves, and this mantra has provided great boons for customers. When they designed the latest generation of the F-150, they went above and beyond with new materials, class-exclusive features, and more to make it one of the segment's most potent (and luxurious) pickups. For 2017, however, they've outdone themselves yet again.

The big change for 2017 comes with the addition of a new 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. Like most other mills in this family, the new V6 is twin-turbocharged to provide greater power and gas mileage. The result is an engine that gives the F-150 V8-style street cred to the tune of 375 horsepower, and best-in-class 470 lb-ft of torque. Although the towing and payload figures for this model have yet to be released, we expect sizeable gains.

This version of the F-150 will debut at our Ford dealership in Valdese, NC this autumn. To learn more about this truck, contact our sales team and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
